Indian In The Cupboard

On his birthday, Omri (Hal Scardino) is given several simple gifts, including an old wooden cupboard and a small plastic figurine of a Native American man. When he locks the toy inside the cabinet it magically comes to life as a tiny, cagey warrior named Little Bear (Litefoot). The boy then places other toys in the cupboard and they too come to life, even engaging in entertaining battles. But after Little Bear is wounded, Omri begins to understand that his animate toys are not mere playthings.

Thank God It's Friday

On a Friday night at Los Angeles discotheque the Zoo, everyone's got his own agenda. Blue-collar type Gus (Chuck Sacci) is meeting a blind date. Underage girls Jeannie (Terri Nunn) and Frannie (Valerie Landsburg) sneak in, hoping to win a dance contest. Lecherous club owner Tony Di Marco (Jeff Goldblum) makes wagers with his DJ (Ray Vitte) on which married women he can seduce. Meanwhile, the Commodores are set to play, but aspiring singer Nicole (Donna Summer) is hoping to steal the show.
